How to create a list

Learn how to create a list of listings for easy reference whenever you need

In this video you'll learn the power of organizing the properties you care about into meaningful lists. This helps you follow listings in the market and share them with others.


 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to the Lists tab

If the Lists tab icon in the bottom of your screen is not highlighted in purple, you are on a different tab. Tap the Lists tab icon to switch tabs.

2. Tap the Create a new list button

The Create a new list button is in the middle of your screen, following the Likes and Saved Search items. Tap it to start creating a list.

3. Name your new list

Give your new list a descriptive name. For instance, you might name it “High Park 👌✨” to indicate that listings located near High Park could be added to this list.

Congratulations, you have successfully created your first list, but it’s empty, follow the steps below to add listings to your list.

4. Find a listing to add to a list

Explore and discover a listing you'd like to add to your list in the Browse tab. Tap any listing to view its details (1).
Next, tap the three-dots (2) at the top right corner of the listing detail page, and choose Add to List (3).

5. Select the list you want to add the listing to or create a new list

In the “Add to List” page, you have two options to add the listing to a list.

5.1. Create a new list

To add the listing to a new list, tap the Create a new list button (1). Listed suggests a list name based on neighbourhoods, but you're free to edit it or change it altogether.
When you’re done, tap Create (2). and the listing is automatically added to the newly created list.

5.2. Adding to existing lists

To add the listing to an existing list, tap the name of the desired list.

Finally, a popup banner will confirm the successful completion of the action. You can tap on the banner to navigate directly to your list or ignore it and keep adding listings to your list.

Summary


Creating lists is a great way to organize what you’re interested in and share it with others. For example you might want to:
  • create a list of properties you want to see and send them to your agent.
  • create list of properties in your neighbourhood that are similar to your property to follow the value of homes like yours. This can be especially useful to understand how to achieve the value you want from selling your home by choosing the right pricing strategy with your agent once you’re ready to sell.
  • receive a list of properties your agent has booked and simply open the list, tap the inset map, and follow the directions to each listing.

Always remember

Ellipsis indicate “more options” are available

  • Whenever you see three dot’s (ellipsis) you can tap them see what options are available to you, such as:
    • adding multiple listings to a list from a list view, such as on the Browse tab or when viewing your Likes list, your Saved Search results, or the contents of any other list.
    • Note: making a list, from a list, is handy when someone else shares a list with you and you want to create your own version of it.
    • Android Users: Currently adding multiple listings to a list is only possible from the iOS and desktop versions of Listed (#coming-to-android).
